I noticed that my last blog post was almost a year ago. I do remember being optimistic that I would blog more last year. Obviously, things didn’t work out. My year was fairly interesting though. I learned some new skills, got some new toys, took a few trips.
We started the year in Chicago, made it to Seattle, flew to Nashville (yay, Hatch Show Print!), road trip from Nashville to Rock City because I love road side attractions, went to North and South Carolina to see the eclipse, caught the art car parade in Houston because it was on my birthday, went to New Orleans again to celebrate my birthday a bit early, kept up with my pom pom making obsession, pulled my polymer clay out again and started making all sorts of things like mini masks, critters, saw Neil Gaiman speak, got back into making miniatures, helped throw a bachelorette weekend for one of my best friends, learned to make pasta while we were in Italy, continued my fermentation experiments, and finally started embroidering seriously.
